VISIT OF POLISH LEGAL CLINICS REPRESENTATIVES TO MONTENEGRO AND KOSOVO WITHIN THE ENEMLOS PROJECT.
Between 14 and 18 of September 2022, a group of representatives of the Polish legal clinics and the Polish Lega Clinics Foundation visited partner universities in Montenegro and Kosovo.
First part of the visit was held in Podgorica, at the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro where the Polish group was welcomed by the Vice-Dean of the law school, main coordinator of the project - professor Biljana Djuricin and representatives of academic and non-partners as well as by the students.
The meeting was dedicated to the update on the project development followed by lively discussion on the current status of the university legal clinic.
The Polish delegation visited the premises of the clinic as well as the faculty building including an impressive court room. Another round of discussions including students’ questions and good practices sharing was organized and ended with strategic planning overview.
The second part of the visit was held in Peja where the Polish delegation met with students of Law Clinics at the University of Haxhi Zeka.
The meetings included presentation of the Polish clinics, discussion on the situation of clinical legal education in Kosovo and working on current challenges and future plans.
There was time dedicated to some sightseeing followed by another rounds of talks on the project and on the planning of the next meetings.
Porady dotyczą najczęściej następujących obszarów: prawa cywilnego (w tym zwykle spraw rodzinnych), świadczeń z pomocy społecznej, prawa pracy (w tym bezrobocia), ubezpieczeń społecznych i zdrowia. Wymieniony zakres działań odpowiada na zapotrzebowanie beneficjentów, którzy najczęściej deklarują problemy prawne z tych właśnie dziedzin. Najrzadziej porady dotyczą spraw związanych z: prawami uchodźców i cudzoziemców, prawem finansowym, karnym, lokalowym i spółdzielczym.
