Between 28 March and 1 April 2022 the Polish Legal Clinics Foundation held an event within the ENEMLOS project dedicated to the training of clinicians from Montenegro. The delegation was composed of 17 persons including representatives from: University of Montenegro, Chamber of Judicial Officers of Montenegro, High Court in Podgorica, Supreme Court of Montenegro, Supreme State Prosecutors Office of Montenegro, Center for ADR in Podgorica, Bar Association of Montenegro, Notary Chamber of Montenegro.
The first day of the meetings was arranged in Warsaw and included meetings with four legal clinics, that is: the Legal Clinic at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University (chaired by dr Katarzyna Syroka-Marczewska, the criminal law section coordinator), the Legal Clinic at the Łazarski University (chaired by Ewelina Milan, coordinator of the clinic), the SWPS University Clinic (chaired by dr Katarzyna Antolak-Szymanski, Head of the Legal Clinic) and the Legal Clinic at Koźmiński University (chaired by Bartosz Baranowski, legal clinic coordinator).
On the second day the delegation took a train to Krakow and spent a day meeting with dr Wojciech Górowski, Head of the legal clinic at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagellonian University. There was also some time to enjoy the Krakow sightseeing before participants boarded the train back to Warsaw.
The third day of the visit was arranged by the Polish Legal Clinics Foundation and included three thematic sessions dedicated to: 1. Clinical legal education methodology (by prof. Barbara Namysłowska-Gabrysiak from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University), 2. Psychological skills training and its importance in legal clinics (by dr Magdalena Ustaborowicz from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Lodz University), 3. Street Law in clinical legal education (by Ewelina Milan from Łazarski University). The visit was concluded by dr Filip Czernicki, President of the Legal Clinics Foundation.
